Diamond Drilling and Coring

E-mail Print PDF

Diamond Drilling is a vibration free relatively quiet method of drilling holes in reinforced and mass concrete, granite, stone and brick. The process can also be used for cast iron and steel plate of limited thickness.

Rigs are driven by electricity or hydraulic power units.

The use of water acts as a coolant reduces dust during the drilling process enabling works to be carried out in occupied premises. Stitch drilling (overlapping 107mm dia holes) can be used to create apertures of unlimited size/thickness. Ideal for complex shapes, curves etc.

Typical uses:

  • Create new or enlarge existing window and door openings.
  • Concrete floor openings, staircases and lift shaft openings.
